Looking at the hardware comparo at Seattlewireless, unless I'm
mis-reading terribly, those not very common brands like Senao and
Engenius seem to rate rather highly for sensitivity and power output
capabilities.
Does anyone here have first-hand experience with their stuff? How are
they for real-world performance and reliability, quality of software
and drivers, support, etc.?
If I wanted to buy an 802.11g access point and a b/g or a/b/g PC-Card,
didn't mind spending a few extra bucks to rise above Linksys
mediocrity (although I'm hesitant to pay Ci$co -variety money), any
suggestions on what I should go for?? Should I care deeply if the
brands don't match?
Stuff that can handle external antennas a big plus.
Thanks for any and all guidance,
-Brad
