Our office/warehouse in Plain City , just outside Dublin, OH, northwest
suburb of Columbus, has no cable service
nor DSL. There are a dozen or so businesses within a half mile strech along
Industrial Parkway, but Time Warner
would not come in to build the line to our building - the cable is available
half a mile to our north and half a mile to our south, half a mile to our
east and half a mile to our west. Unfortunately, just not our location
about a mile in diameter.

We can get a cable access point at an apartment about 1.5 miles to our
north. Anyone has any good specific suggestions what we can do to get high
speed internet connections to our office/warehouse ? Put antena between
the apartment and the office ?

Thanks for any suggestions.

1.5 miles is well within the range of 802.11 solutions, provided that
there is clear line of site between end points.

Surely, one of the other nearby businesses already has Internet access.
You might explore leasing bandwidth from them and connecting via 802.11.
