I have the following "vintage" computers:
-Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDT
-IBM Thinkpad 380E

The idea is to use these computers as terminals, connecting wirelessly to a
server running LTSP (http://www.ltsp.org/)

In other words, I need a little help choosing a pcmcia 16 bits wireless card
that runs also under linux.

Thanks in advance,

Benito

lie - cardbus = 32bit, he asked for a 16 bit card
benito look for a PRISM 2 PCMIA card - best under Linux, 16bit
for example demartec (200mW = most powerfull pcmcia ever )

You too!
Of course, you should never trust an ebay sellers description, but
backing it up by searching google for the card name and linux generally
gives some pages you can look at to check.
