Security group permissions

How do you give read/write access to the default "users" group. When I add
a new user, I use the "users" template, but then that user does not have
write permissions. I am not sure where to grant that type of permission
without just using the administrator template...BAD IDEA I know.

It appears you don't need the NG since you ridicule your own methods, answer
your own posts and do not share your solutions.
