Well the answer depends on several things none of which are really a
hardware issue & thus off topic in this newsgroup.
Do you have functioning anti-virus software on the computer that isn't
infected?
What virus(es) is the computer infected with?
What OS are the various computers running?
Have you installed the patch that prevents the virus (There are several
patches for Microsoft software that will prevent some viruses)?
Now in one case if computer b is sharing a folder that has write
permissions & computer a has been infected with the KLEZ virus computer
b will also become infected if it is not protected against the virus.
So the answer is a rather complex one revolving entirely around the
software in use on your network.
