SecurID VPN and Microsoft base-station

Hello. I run a Microsoft base-station on our home
network. One of the computers on the network, my company-
issued laptop, requires me to log on to a SecurID VPN in
order to connect to our Lotus Notes server for database
replication. I am able to authenticate, however I am
unable to establish a connection to my company's server
when the router is in the chain. When I take the router
out of the chain and connect my laptop directly to the DSL
modem, I log on through WinPoET, establish the VPN
connection and I connect to the company servers just
fine. This leads me to believe that, while the Microsoft
base stations claim to support VPN pass-through, there's
some sort of problem with the config of the router. Any
suggestions on this?

The only router supported by my company for VPN is the
Linksys BE-series. I run my Microsoft MN-700 as a sub-
Lan out of it. Linksys works fine since it is owned by
Cisco, who created VPN. You can buy one for ~$50 now.
Although it doesn't say it has a built-in firewall on the
box, it does.
