When I attempt to open some secure (https web sites in IE, I am
re-directed back to the login screen, this does not hapen with every site,
and sometimes a site will work fine, and othertimes, it does not. I have
tried everyting that I can think of, with no success. I am not the only one
on our company that is having this issue, and nothing has changed in our
enterprise, so I am not sure what the cause is.

We are running IE 6 SP2
Both Windows 2k and XP are having this issue.
Both Users and Administrators are having this issue
I changed IE's settings to "Except all cookies" with no luck
I added the site to the "Trusted Sites" in IE and still nothing.

Any advice that anyone could provide would be appericiated

Nick

Hi

Have you checked this article.....?

"How to troubleshoot problems accessing secure Web pages with Internet
Explorer 6 Service Pack 2
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;870700

I assume the usual things like , checking firewalls, browser settings, cipher
strength etc etc have been checked

Another thing - do yo have this issue if you try another browser?

HTH

Regards
