I have a Windows 2003 server with two static IPs assigned to it's NIC. When
I do an IPCONFIG /ALL, the secondary IP is displayed first. Why isn't the
Primary IP displayed first?

Ping the machine by the netbios name from another machine. What IP# is
returned? That it the one to be concerned about,...not how IPconfigure
displays.

When I ping the netbios name, it returns the primary IP. I'm not having any
issues with the server. I was just courious as to why the primary IP is not
displayed first.

I don't know. I don't think it is important.
