thanks for the speedy response, but I might not have stated clearly in my
question.
In my quetion, "secondary DNS server" is not a second DNS server after the
preferred DNS server.
What I meant was the DNS server that I want to enter in the DNS server field
is a secondary DNS server for the DNS zone.
For example,
in the DHCP scope,
the parent domain is abc.com
say, the DNS servers for the zone abc.com are dnsserver1, and dnsserver2 of
which dnsserver1 is the master and dnsserver2 is a secondary (it is not a
DC).
in the DNS server field of the scope option I want to use dnsserver2 as it
is local.
I want to know whether this will affect DHCP clients' dynamic DNS update.
