Anyone happen to know if it's possible to change the connection properties
via script? It'd be really handy to be able to setup WEP keys on AP's via
login script etc.

thanks in advance

Currently there is no such scripting support.
Centrino based adapters have a scripting and automatic enrollment features,
if you are interested in this contact tech. support of your vendor.
