My Netgear DG834G will allow me to set user defined schedules on
firewall rules, and I'm sure others do too. You certainly can with
Sonicwall firewalls, and the same will go for other business-level
firewalls too.
Alternatively, if you really want the connection to be physically
switched off, connect the router power supply via a cheap 7 day
programmable timer from B&Q.
It's possible, and relatively simple, for the ISP to do it in RADIUS.
We do it for certain types of account, such as unmetered dialup, so
there's no reason why it can't be done for ADSL. But to get an ISP to
do it on one account at user request - unlikely, to be honest, unless
there's demonstrable market demand for that feature.
