We have a Windows 2003 domain and Mac OS9.0 network. Windows XP Pro users
who have been able to access shared folders on the Mac Server via Windows
Microsoft Network previously for a long time are now recieving the error
"\\kkserver\Sales is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this network resource" The user will log in to the server through Windows
Microsoft Network using a known good user and password that has been tested
directly on the Mac Server.

Not sure if this is a Windows or SBS2003 network problem or a permissions
problem on
the Mac. Any suggestions on what to look for appreciated.

Nothing obvious has changed.

Can successfully ping the mac from the XP machine and the SBS2003. Net View
from the command prompt by both ip address and name gives "System Error 53
Access is denied"

Thanks
Chris

I would suspect the latest security update, specifically KB885250. It
concerns SMB and SAMBA.
