Spent two hours of my Saturday on support line on this.
Essentially, you have to go to the base station admin WAN
settings and specify your normal DSL login params but
w/one variant: while normally I use my <username> to login
to PacBell/SBC DSL, in the WAN settings window you have to
spec <username>@<domain.<net><com>>, which in my case was
pacbell.net, since I got the account before they were
acquired. I don't use that email address EVER, so I didn't
even know what it was. Luckily, I guess well. Good luck.
This is a MAJOR omission in the instructions and
troubleshooting docs.
