Hi
I recently bought and installed the solwise sar715+ router.
Everything is working fine with the internet, but i can't get wolfenstein or
enemy territory + others to connect to retreive a server list in game.
I have used All seeing eye and can get a server list and connect to a server
to play.
I can't connect to a server running punkbuster as it kicks me cos it can't
update for some reason.

my router is set up as NAT. There is no firewall on and intrusion detection
is off as well.

I got this from the activision webby
Return to Castle Wolfenstein relies on Internet communication via the IP
protocol and UDP ports 27950, 27960, 27965 and 27952. These are the ports
that the game uses for connection, message of the day, server browsing, and
so forth.

How do i put this info into my router as the manual is pathetic.

Thanks

Gaz

p.s if there is more info about my router or settings please ask and i will
reply asap

sounds like what you need to set up is portforwarding - and it is possible
to carry this out from the web interface.

i have the 715 and the manual is fine - you can download it from the site
at www.solwise.co.uk - there are several parts to the manual but that is
because the SAR range is a fairly powerful router and can carry out many
advanced funtions.

if in doubt, contact a network engineer who should be able to sort this out
quickly - better to spend £40 than spend weeks struggling!

HTH,

kev

It's that advanced that you can't set an internal clock and have the
firewall logs time stamped!
