samlib.dll error

I'm trying to install a LinkSys wireless card and on
startup of the laptop am now getting an error message
saying that a required file, SAMLIB.DLL, is not found.
I'm running Win98se and can't find any answers on the
Microsoft site or on the program CD, and I'm reluctant to
download the file from elsewhere without knowing exactly
what I need. Can anyone help?
