As of now I have 1 ADSL connexion with one public/external IP address.
Now Ive gotten an extra public IP address which I want to use on the
same DSL connexion.

As of now I have one DSL modem and then a Router hooked up to the DSL
modem.
Is it possible to put a Switch in between the modem and the Router so
that I can add two routers.
Well, maybe that will not work because the Switch uses level 2 (MAC
address) sorting whereas a Router uses level 3 (IP address) sorting,
correct?

How do I split up so I can have 3-4 public IP addresses on 1 DSL
connexion? Do I have to use PC as router?
Whats the cheapest way to do this?

So far I have 2 Routers w/firewall + 1 AP (wireless)

I want to make 3-4 segments:

Internal IP-net External/Public IP address/Gateway
1: 192.168.1.0 - - - - - - - - - - 193.87.29.x1
2: 192.168.2.0 - - - - - - - - - - 193.87.29.x2
3: 172.16.1.0 - - - - - - - - - - - 193.87.29.x3
4: 10.1.0.0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - 193.87.29.x4

So as you see I want 3-4 public IP addresses on the same xDSL
connextion I have. What do I need to do to make this possible?

I would put two IP networks on a single physical network.
Then you can assign the external addresses to some machines, and NATed
addresses to the others.
How you do this depends on the exact hardware you have. There are some
instructions at
the Draytechh Vigour site at

If you ONLY want to use the external addresses set up the MODEM in BRIDGING
mode.
