Hmm - do you have identical versions of Linux on both machines? I think that
Samba support has to be compiled into the kernel (don't know if you can
load a module for it) and maybe you have two different kernel versions
running on your two Linux machines? I. e. the one kernel has Samba FS type
support compiled in, the other does not, and this is why one machine works
and the other does not?
