Hey everyone.
I am running FC3 and using SAMBA to mount a PC file system onto my FC box. I
am seeing a HUGE difference in performance between browsing with the GUI and
via command line.
If I cd /mnt/xyx and do an ls, it is instantaeneous. From inside the
FC3 GUI, or a program like evolution, browsing to the same location can take
from 1-5 MINUTES....
Anyone have any ideas to improve this? It is very frustrating when using
the graphical mail tool evolution and having to wait a few minutes each time
I browse to an attachment on the PC side.
