Yep. Change the SSID on the router first, then on the
adpater (you'll lose connection while the SSIDs are
different).
802.1x should be unchecked on the adapter (it's set if
you have a certificate server -- which home networks
typically don't).
Do you have a wired connection to the router? If that's
the case, change the WPA on the router and then the
MN730. If you find trouble revert back to no WPA using
the wired connection, and try with WEP.
