Runing DOS program on Windows XP

An old DOS program is instaled on Novell server and is
runing fine on all net connected PCs (with win 95/98).
The newest PC has been delivered with XP pro instaled and
there were no problem with net connection. But - when I
want to run that old DOS program the XP displays the error
message saying that can not execute DOS program from
server. Is there any solution?
Also, how can I tell Windows XP to use more opened files
(like 'files=80' in DOS)?

Windows XP questions should be asked in a Windows XP newsgroup. Since we
support Windows 98 here, any suggestions we have would likely not help you
in the least.
