Hi

I'm looking for information on the correct F\W rules to implement to allow
for a single management server to manage multiple remote servers. I
understand that one needs port 135 and the TCP high ports , what I can't seem
to find info on is if these need to be uni-directional or Bi-directional ,
I'm looking for the most restrictive working solution.

Thanks

You're going to need more than 135. Also 139 and 445 at least. This article
should help:
http://www.connaxx.nl/KB/tabid/62/39...4/Default.aspx. It
refers to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154596. Between the two of them,
you should find what you're looking for.
