Routing Internet Access with a second NIC

I have determined that I need to use NAT services to share
my DSL to a seperate NIC. I put a NIC in the server and
configured it and the resident Ethernet interface.
NAT/Firewall and Static Routing seem to be working but the
TCP table never shows anything but Local. I have tried
everything in the documentation but still there is no
routing between the 2 Ethernet intefaces. The router is
not working as described. I know these interfaces are
working because they work just fine when the PCs and DSL
are connected together without the server. I am able to
ping and trace between the 2 networks but no cigar. One
thing I noticed in the documentation is that there is only
recommendations but no examples or nothing that says "Do
this" and "Do not do this". Also the descriptions about
the origin and destination of the connections are very
vague.
