Greetings,
I am trying to "disable routing and remte access" so that i can run the
wizard for it again but it doesn't stop / disable it.
This allready happend to me on primary server but now again on secondary
server.

The thing is when i try to click on the "disable routing and remote access"
windows server 2003 ask me: "You're disabling the router and removing it's
configuration. To re-enable the router, you will have to reconfigure it. Do
you want to continue?
Then i press yes and nothing happens it stops but doesn't clear the
configuration and then i can't configure it anymore nor start it.

Here are the screen shots:

http://www.netsky.org/stuff/rrasbug/2.png
http://www.netsky.org/stuff/rrasbug/3.png

So it doesn't clear configuration and so i can't start a wizard.
Any suggestions what's wrong or is this a bug ?

THANKS!

Try to disable Routing and remote access service. To do that, right-click on My Computer>Manager>services and application.

In what console are you getting a drop-down list?

Is there a service or app installed and running that relies on RRAS? Is
there a PPPoE app installed (like Verizon's WinPoet)? Was Zone Alarm ever
installed on it?

See if this helps:

I can start and stop routing and remote access service.
What i can't do is run wizard again when i stop it.

I was talking about this menu:
http://www.netsky.org/stuff/rrasbug/v.png

When you click disable routing and remote access this menu should disappear
so i can start wizard again.
But when i do that the menu doesn't disappear and so i can not start routing
and remote access wizard.

I don't have any PPPoE service installed i connect directly through Static
IP address (Pure ethernet) directly connected to Intel PRO/1000 MT Dual Port
Server Adapter.
I have the latest drivers from intel that are/have Windows Server 2003
compatible/WHQL certification (version 11.1).

Maybe jsut refreshing the console will allow you to use the wizard again. If
not, try it from the actual Routing and Remote Access console, and not from
Computer Management console.

Let me know if that helped.
