routers

I have 2 computers in the came room....i bought i wireless router to hook up
into one computer.(the one that has Internet). i bought a USB network adapter.
i hook it in the other computer (no internet). and tried to hook up the
internet, but didnt hook up and i still dont have internet on both computers.
Can you Please help me with this?

Did you follow the instructions and/or use the setup software that came with
the router?
Did you install the drivers for the USB adapter?

Did you plug in the power adapter?
Did you turn on both computers?
