I will have 3 Win2k domains set up on LAN. Do I need a router between them if
they are on the same subnet? What if they are on different subnet? Thanks.

Hi Ian,

If all three domains will be on same subnet then you don't need a router. If
domains will be on different subnets, then yes, you will need a router.

Thanks Mike. What kind of router is better?

Ian,

Personally I would probably use a Windows computer and use it as a router.

Your decision should be based on few factors:
* number of computers on the subnets
* your budget (a router can nowadays be bought for less then 100$)
* is your network setup business critical
* etc
