I bought a D-Link wireless router but it won't work with
my PPPOA MSN DSL service. Microsoft says I should buy one
of their routers, but when I looked up the specs for the
MN-500 it doesn't list PPOA as one of the supported
transport protocols. Does anyone know if the MN-500 will
work with my PPOA DSL service?

Frustrated in Seattle,

Peter

PPPOA is not supported on the MS routers...
Are you sure it isn't PPPoE (which is supported).

Just to confirm what Pete says (as I am in Bellevue, near
Seattle). According to the MSN DSL1000 router status
page: it is PPPoA. Isn't it strange that an MSN router
(MN-700) doesn't support their own ISPs protocol? Maybe
that has been MY problem the whole time.
