Absolutely not, passwords are old technology, these days we use Windows
based security, that being, if an intruder does get on your machine, Windows
will probably crash before they can do any damage.
And the non-sarcastic answer, Yes, not having a password it like leaving
your front door wide open. Sooner or later somebody will come in.
