I have a VERY STRANGE problem. I live in a condominium that is
supplied by Bell South 3 T-1's into the various buildings. These go to
routers then I assume switches then an assigned IP address to my unit.
I am a webmaster for my site http://wellingtonrunners.org for over 3
years with no problems until 2 days ago. I can't see my own site. I
can view everything else on the net except mine. I have contaceted my
webhost provideder and everthing is fine from their end. Other people
in the same building can log into my site except me. I have rebooted
numerous times, flushed cache & cookies countless times on both
browsers firefox and Internet Explorer. I have stopped my firewall,
and nothing at all is wrong with my computer.
Does anybody have any idea what the casue is. I somenone blocking my
sites i.p. address 65.14.81.161
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Double check that your firewall isn't blocking your site?

What error message (or otherwise) are you receiving when you try to browse your site?

Have you tried pinging and tracerouting to your site?

Maybe some settings in your hosts file?

It's not uncommon for some routers to prevent your accessing a local address
by going out the router and back in. I've seen this with Cisco and Sonicwall
routers.

Your site seems just fine through DNS although the IP address resolves to
216.227.219.33, not 65.14.81.161. Are you using dynamic DNS and working
through a dynamic IP address?

Have you check with your webhost to see if your IP address is blocked
on their firewall? This sometimes happens when they see a possible DOS
attack and instead of bloccking just that IP, they will block the
entire IP family.

Thank you all for contributing. After the third day, miracously my
site came up. I did nothing. I have no idea why, so I guess I'll
chalk it up as a strange malady. All have a great day.
