I have 4 systems hooked up to my Netgear M812 router (bought from
Bestbuy). The amount of traffic on going on this router is about 10 gig
per day, combined. There have been times when I lose my IP addr/dhcp
server on ther router. I have to manually restart the router by unplug,
restore to factory settings, then everything is fine.

Could my router be overloading/overworking?

It's more likely to be faulty firmware.

10 GB per day isn't that much. Most likely faulty hardware, or a firmware
bug.

Might be logging. I had similar problem on a router where log would eat
all memory causing the system to crash.

A computer is like an air conditioner,
it stops working when you open Windows.
