Hi,
Previously used an old laptop with a belkin usb stick for wireless
connection to Belkin DSL modem router. Now added a new Dell laptop which is
wireless enabled. However only get wireless connection when security (WEP /
WPA etc ) is disabled. Have checked my DHCP list and have 'unknown' computers
identified on my network (the neighbours?!).

Could it be a network management issue - conflicting software 'managing' the
wireless network?? I have found a prog called Broadcom on my laptop which may
be involved.

Any ideas appreciated.

HNY
Andy.

Hi
If your security is off it is not surprise that you found your neighbors in
the DHCP list, might be that even they are unaware that their Wireless is
logging to your Network.
As for configuring your security setting, may be this can Help.
