My Belkin router went dead on me. Bought D Link and had problems setting up
needing four calls to their Tech Support.

The old Belkin was used to link two PC's and Internet access with no
problems and 922 Kbps (kilobits per second) download speed on tests.

The Netlink is fine when connected by wire same speeds but wireless a drop
to 100-200 Kbps download speeds and nearly impossible to get it to network
with other PC.

The Tech Support said I must be in an area of bad interference with the
wireless and need to use wired. Yet the Belkin worked fine. Any tips would
be appreciated before I trip over the ugly wires.

Ken

I thought Belkin had a 'lifetime guarantee' - worth checking ???
I don't have any wireless units here (at present), but set up one of
the Belkin units for a friend, and vaguely remember that as a 'plus'

Can you change the channel? Use either 1, 6 or 10 for least overlap. Could
also be non compatible hardware. I have the opposite problem, two Belkin
USB adaptors have a very poor range compared to Linksys ones.
