Route delete command

Hi, I'm using the route delete command on a Windows 2003 box and it
will not delete the route. When I do a route print, the offending route
is still in place. Is there some trick to this on Windows 2003, it just
works fine in 2000: route DELETE 10.0.0.0
Should I use netsh? If so, what is the commandline to delete routes
with netsh?

Is the route a route you installed or is it there from a NIC interface?

It is from a loop-back adapter.

Then it can't be removed. If you need to add that route, you'll have to
disable the loopback.
