Rogue Workgroup Names in the Neighborhood

I have a user that keeps complaining of workgroup names that aren't
politically correct showing up in Network Neighborhood. The user wants them
removed but as a domain administrator for one of many local domains, I don’t
know of a way to control what shows up on their browse list. Is their a way
to find out which machine has the workgroup set to one of these distasteful
names?

if you drill down (by x2 clicking) into the workgroup it will show all the
PC's that belong to that workgroup.

Sorry, it isn't that simple... When double clicking the workgroup name, the
following message eventually pops up:

Microsoft Windows Network
_WorkgroupName_ is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out
if you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is
not currently available.

That usually means the PC is off the network. It usually takes some time for
it to disappear. All they have to do is connect again and it will appear
though. You can check WINS if your running it and make sure there are no
records for that workgroup. If there are, it will make it always appear in
NN, so delete the records. Basically your screwed unless you can find the PC
while it's connected.

I have tried double clicking on it throughout the day yesterday and after it
appeared late this morning, I've tried numerous times without success. There
are dozens of WINS servers within the organization and we are not replication
partners with any of them. I checked our WINS servers but didn't find a
registration. It appears to be broadcasting on a segment that is super
netted with four subnets appearing as the same network (~1016 possible
addresses). Thanks for your time…
