I must amend what I wrote before, the problem can happen with an arbitrary
set of parameters. Since it is capable of corrupting the video memory area
(yielding a checkered screen of death), it seems to be writing memory it
doesn't own rather than executing a deferred procedure call. A typical error
is shown below:
