I am wanting to purchase 6 RJ45 faceplates to fit in the wall to make my
computer network look nice.
I'm a bit new at this, and was wondering if anybody has a favorite place to
get them.

This one has come up several times lately.

Screwfix, among others.

Mike,

Sorry about that. I Googled for about 30 minutes before posting without
really understanding what I was looking at. It looks like keystone
faceplates are to be avoided, but I don't know what should be used instead.
I looked at Screwfix. It looks like they are in the UK. I'm in the USA.

Thank you for your time.

Matthew

Oooh, sorry about that - I guess it's too easy to make assumptions about
where people are. I'll check next time! And of course, I'd not set up a
signature file while testing a new newsreader :-( (Fixed now, hopefully)

Go down to the local Home Depot, find the Electrical section, then look for
the Levitton stock. They make an excellent modular faceplate system and have
punch-down rj45s in white, cream, blue or black.

If you don't have a Home Depot, look at the other building supply retailers.
Levitton is everywhere. Hell, even Radio Shack sells Levitton...

a nit -

I think there's only one "t" in Leviton

Knowing that makes finding their web site easier

Be advised that "keystone" isn't as standard as we would all like. I have
several times had compatibility issues with faceplates and keystone devices
not fitting. Best to stick to one manufacturer for plates and jacks. I use
Hubbell.
