Wireless Network for 2 Desktop PC -

Router:
QTY (1) - Linksys WAP11 Wireless-B Network Access Point

Adapters:
QTY (2) - LINKSYS 54Mbps Wireless-G PCMCIA Ethernet Adapter, Model WPC54G

Questions:

Will the following Adapters work fine on a desktop pc?

Is the Router and Adapter compatible?

If you're getting "G" cards, why are you getting a "B" access point??

Anyways, the "G" cards also support "B" networks, so they should work
together.

Does the desktop have a PC-Card slot? Most do not. I think you want a
wireless PCI Card, Linksys WMP54G Wireless-G PCI Adapter.

The wireless router is Wireless_G Broadband Router WRT54G to connect to
a cable or dsl modem.

If you want -b wireless, www.linksys.com has the -b equivalents.

The WPC54G is a PCMCI card, that'll fit in the expansion slot of a
laptop. For a PC, you'll need either the WMP11 or WMP54G, which are PCI
cards.
