The RIAA/MPAA came out in support of their jewish brothers
proportionate and reasonable response to the Hezbollah terrorists
today. "For every kayastha rocket that bounces off the roof of an
Israeli building, we will drop 800 lazer guided bombs, destroy three
hospitals, kill 900 children sue you grandma for hurt feelings and
throw your children into abject poverty" a spokesman for Jewish
RIAA/MPAA exthortion racket said.

hamburger meat, threw it on the grill, and I said "Oh Wow"...

Lazer is a beam of light that's amplified and concentrated. They use
mirrors to focus the beam to a thin stream, which can make it so
powerful that it can cut things.

Laser, where the spelling of lazer comes from is actually an acronym.
It stands for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation.

Now you know.

Lazer is a 'bastardisation'.

Still confused - shouldn't these bombs be laser guided rather than lazer
guided?

Not so.
Laser is the only correct spelling and applies to both the above
definitions, one of which is the technology and the other an application of
same.
"Lazer" could only therefore be a mis-spelling of laser, a definition of
someone who lazes (?) or a trade-name.
Google "lazer" and see what comes up - mostly company names.

And this impacts my broadband how? Do I take it that BT will blaming my
lower than anticipated speed is down to the fact that an Israeli bomb
will be used to destroy the local telephone exchange?

By the way apart from not being able to spell 'laser' you also don't
know what the hell Hibollah are firing, they are katusha not kayastha.

Why don't you go and post on illiterate anonymous your stupid off topic
posts.

So, reasoning in reverse, the world's recording artists are being
blackmailed by Hezbollah's rather unconventional attempts to provide us
all with free bootleg recordings?

But how do they get any revenue from illegal file-sharing to pay for
their weapons?
