RHES4 + Dell Blades + Bonding

I have a request coming in for something like the following:

Dell Blade Server (Two Broadcom NICs)
RHES4
VMWare (Not ESX)

The request is to have both Broadcom NICS bonded so that the VMs
running on VMWare can use the "bonded" interface as THE interface to
speak over. I've read a few things about broadcom's bonding utility not
working so well. Any ideas/suggestions about this?
