I attempted to run the disk prompted by XP on my 98SE 333
hgz computer. Error generated is "This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator. I am the admin.
I beleive I have OKed on windows to allow. Would my zone
alarm keep this from happening? I am using a broadband
router for internet connections and both machines are
sharing at that level.

Do you mean XP's Network Setup Wizard? If so, you can make the
network settings manually. Configure the TCP/IP properties to obtain
an IP address automatically, and set the workgroup name to MSHOME.

I don't think it's likely that Zone Alarm is the problem, but I can
tell you how to find out: un-install Zone Alarm and then try running
the disk again.
