Restoring Network Neighborhood

Greetings,

Is there a way to restore the Network Neighborhood icon
to the desktop? Or prehaps access it another way? I am
not sure what was done to the computer such that that
icon no longer exists.

go to Control Panel | Network. Remove Client for
Microsoft Networks if it is present. Then add Client for
Microsoft Networks
