Hi
I would like to restore server 2008 standard from backup on NAS.
The problem is, that server asks for IP expect IP address from DHCP server.
I tried to use netsh command to assign IP address manually. I have got
message - unknown interface name.
Can anybody tell me how to assign IP address in the same range as NAS?
JN

I made backup on NAS (networ attached storage) via network. Than In run setup
from installation CD and choosed Repair installation. To connect NAS via
network I need to assign IP address to servers network card. I do that by
Netsh command. The command retur message interface name not recognized. I use
czech localization of Windwos server that use czech letters in the name of
interface.

Ah. Never tried that. Presuming this is the built-in Windows backup see

Yes I use Windows backup
