It hasn't happened to me, but you could trey the following:
- Connect your PC directly to the cable modem and run this for a few days.
If it's still a problem, then it is probably the cable modem or the outside
cable. Get NTL to check the cable outside.
- You can use dyndns.org to have a dns name linked to your IP address, so
that if your IP address changes, you don't have to change your dns name.
Don't forget NTL use dynamic IP addressing and therefore the IP address can
change at anytime.
