Hello, yesterday I brought my computer to a LAN to play
games with a couple of friends. After we were done, I
brought my computer home and tried to use the net. Much to
my surprise, it wouldn't work... and it seems that none of
the "geniuses" that set it up can undo what they did...

If anyone can help me with this, it would be GREATLY
appreciated!!!

I have tried:

- winipcfg - release all/renew all and numbers come up..
so i'm pretty sure it isn't the connection with the modem.

- Removing the ethernet card and everything and letting it
auto detect on startup... still won't work.

- Unplugging power from the modem.

Is there any to completely clear the all the previous
network settings and start over? Or should I just reformat?
