ReservedPorts on Windows 2008

Hi,

I'm trying to set up an ADAM instance on a Window 2008 Domain Controller and
am having issues due to the DNS server sometimes stealing ADAM's port.. All
the documentation I've found references
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812873, but this doesn't seem to apply to
2008 and doesn't seem to work - even though I've reserved a port, a test
program I've written still gets allocated it.

Does anyone know what I should be doing?

Thanks!

Hi Meinolf,

Thanks for your reply but I've already tried the suggested method of
settings the ReservedPorts value. Unfortunately it didn't work on 2008 - the
ports are still getting taken by DNS Server in IPv6..

Regards,
Eugene
