In a DHCP scope I want to make some IP reservations for some devices.
Should I reserve the IP addresses within the scope's address pool or can I
reserve addresses out side of the address pool? or it does not matter?
For example, if the scope is 192.168.1.0/24, address pool is 192.168.1.20 -
192.168.1.100 can I add reservation for 192.168.1.5?
thanks in advance,

Hello tree,

You can. It only has to be in the scope itself.

Best regards
