Mandatory skills:
- Min. 2+ years of solid test experience.
Experience in design and execute test strategies, test plans and test
cases
for design verification of network access products
Excellent knowledge of the entire product development/testing life
cycle and
processes
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self motivated and works well in a team environment
- Working knowledge of network protocols such as Frame Relay, HDLC,
ATM,
TCP/IP etc.
Extensive knowledge of the OSI Layer Networking Model
Ability to formulate test scenarios for performance-monitoring products
within a Wide Area Network (WAN).
Ability to validate network and user side generated data in an
ATM/FRAME/IP
network topology where Networks devices are reporting information to an
aggregated backend.
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Implementing Test Automation
Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Tcl/Tk,
Perl,
VB, C++ or similar scripting/high-level languages
Domain Expertise:
Wireline Communications Protocols (TCP/IP / IP routing / X.25, Frame
Relay /
ATM / Sonet / LAN switching solutions / SS7 /. VOIP
Job Descriptioin:
Responsible for all aspects of verification testing of network access
products including (but not limited to): test plan development, test
procedure development and documentation; testing of new and existing
products and platforms; regression testing; assisting engineering
during
system testing and developing automated regression tests.
