Ring them. They will make you an offer to stay, just decline it and they
will give you a mac code.

I doubt their admin people work weekends. I would expect to receive it
next week, as they may try some kind of customer retention activity with
you first.

I do know of someone who requested a MAC from BT recently and received a
call concerning it, as did I when I left BT a few years ago.

Not sure about BT but Plusnet gave me my MAC code within 2 hours. So they
can do something well!

Terry.

My experience too.
Once you can convince the Bangalorees that you're going and that there's
nothing that they can say that will stop you, you'll get your MAC.
They will try to talk you out of it though.
I got mine reasonably "instantly" on the phone, after such a conversation.

It took a few days with Nildram to get a MAC code. It's not made easy for
you, there's no information on their site, so you ring customer services &
they give you details of who to contact but really quickly and hang up the
instant they've told you. Then people 'aren't there', eventually you get
the Retention Team email trying to get you change your mind, they won't give
you the MAC until you've completed a CS form for them. Then it all happens,
but you get charged for 30 days after the MAC code request date, the date of
migration isn't relevant.
