Request for network password on bootup

I'm doing some cleanup of my daughter's Win98SE system. Every time it boots
up, at the very end of the boot process the following message appears for a
few seconds and then disappears:

"Enter your network password for Microsoft networking"

How can I get rid of this message? The computer is always able to get on the
internet from a NIC to a router tied to a cable modem with no problems.

Thanks.

Hi Papa,

By chance, is Tweakui installed on the system?
If so take a look at the Logon tab.

Thanks, Bert. No, Tweakui is not on there right now, but I'll put it on and
give it a shot.

Hi Papa,

I was thinking that Tweakui was causing the brief display
of the login screen. So I don't think Tweakui will help.

To get rid of it completely look here.

Hi Bert. I just printed out the instructions from your referenced Microsoft
website. Thanks much. I'll give it a try tomorrow (too much family stuff
going on right now) and post back the result.

Thanks Bert. It worked. Actually all I had to do was set User's Profiles to
"All users of this PC use the same preferences and desktop" - which in my
daughter's case is all that she needs.

Best regards,

Papa
