Replacing STD BT Openworld USB connection with an ADSL Modem/Router/Wireless Lan configuration

A colleague has standard BT Openworld connection and would like replace his
current single Laptop USB-based connection with a wireless lan setup.
Looking through various websites, there are many products which would seem
to do the job. The Belkin product looks particularly good, as it is all in
one, ADSL Modem/Router/hardwire and Wireless LAN connections, is reasonably
priced and only requires the Wireless Laptop NIC cards to complete
connectivity.

So far however, I have not been able to find a definitive web-site/web-page/
FAQ which goes through the replacement/connection process and any
interaction required with BT themselves - can anyone help with a url etc.

BT don't need to know.

Just unplug the USB modem, plug in the ADSL router and configure it via its
web based config pages.

It may even automatically detect most of the settings...
