Hi,

I have a network set up in my house and originally I had just the one
PC connected wirelessly while another was connected straight into the
router. I now want to add another computer wirelessly and I have been
given a wireless card by my brother (the make of the card is blitzz,
I'd never heard of it!), the card worked fine when he used to use it
in an old pc however when i put the card in the new machine, the
connection drops and picks up again constantly every minute or so. I
tried the linksys card in the same machine and it worked fine, so next
I tried taking the antenna from the linksys card and putting it on the
blitzz card and the signal has been picked up constantly, so I was
wondering if anyone on here could tell me if it's possible to pick up
an antenna the same as, or simillar to the one which comes with the
linksys wmp11??

Any suggestions much appreciated

Sarah

I was actually hoping to buy an antenna that wasn't the same as the
blitzz one I have at the minute, I want to get a linksys antenna or
another brand that will be more likely to pick up the signal from the
wap, as the current blitzz one, doesn't seem to be faulty, it just
isn't picking up the signal at the current distance from the wap, it
works when in closer proximity.
